Role:  Senior CGI Generalist 

Location: India (Remote working until further notice)

A Little Bit About the Role: 

Are you a Senior CGI Generalist, with a passion for polygons, all things ‘raytracing’, and emerging AI creative workflows? Then this opportunity is for you! This role will be underpinned by passion, ambition, and creative thinking, and those with experience in leading digital content and social campaigns within a creative agency will have an advantage. 

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior CG Artist to lead projects in posing sequence setup, lighting, and rendering for high-quality CGI product imagery and hero visuals. In addition to core responsibilities, this role requires ownership in guiding junior artists, ensuring the readiness of assets for review, and implementing creative production plans. The Senior CG Artist will also be expected to demonstrate genuine, working fluency with GenAI tools across image generation, video and motion, 3D asset creation, and AI-enhanced production workflows — integrating these meaningfully into their practice, not just as standalone experiments. Experience with animation, photo compositing, 3D modelling, and AI-powered creative tools is essential. 

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in a wide range of CGI skills (modelling, lighting, animation, Simulation, comping). Experience in 3D animation from style frames to storyboarding phase to final execution is essential. Strong creative thinking, storytelling ability, and a curiosity for emerging AI technologies within content creation are highly valued. 

You will ideally have worked on Product Visualization in FMCG, Technology, premium Electronics and/or global brands and have an up-to-date showreel to show us what you have worked on. The role is fast-paced and responsive, working across multiple different projects and clients within the organization and across the world. 

 

What You'll be Doing: 

  • Work on projects from start to finish — collaborating across global teams on ideation, creation, implementation, and AI-assisted creative exploration.
  • Handle multiple projects simultaneously and thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Produce creative and visually stunning CGI assets with clear creative rationale and storytelling intent.
  • Be a strong brand guardian while pushing innovative visual thinking.
  • Use and/or source existing assets, stock imagery, and AI-powered creative tools — spanning image generation (Midjourney, Adobe Firefly, Freepik), video and motion generation (Runway ML, Kling, Higgsfield), and in-pipeline AI tools (Photoshop Generative Fill, Topaz, Magnific AI) — to create relevant and up-to-date content when needed.
  • Stay up to date with current design, AI, and technology trends within the creative industry.
  • Understand what makes GREAT content e.g., best practices for social assets, mobile-first design, title legibility, pacing, and engagement.
  • Create high-quality 3D animations showcasing product features, functions, and narratives.
  • Ability to modify and/or create basic 2D assets and motion graphics.
  • Basic video editing skills.
  • Strong presentation and visual communication skills.
  • Compositing in After Effects and Photoshop.
  • Storyboarding and creative concept development.
  • Retouching and photo-manipulation.
  • Integrating CGI models with real-world photography and AI-enhanced workflows where relevant.
  • Timesheet keeping.
  • Ability to lead, develop, and oversee junior 3D/CGI artists, helping grow their skills and support their career progression.
  • Coordinate with teams to achieve shared creative and production goals on a project basis. 

 

What you need to be great in this role:  

  • Excellent modelling, lighting, comping and animation skills 
  • Expertise in 3d programs like Cinema4d, Blender, Octane/ Redshift  
  • Unreal Engine rendering experience. 
  • Experience with advanced texturing tools like Adobe Substance Painter is a plus 
  • Expertise in the Adobe Creative Suite: After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator, and Premiere. 
  • Design and create procedural textures and materials using Substance Designer. Develop a variety of materials, including organic surfaces (like skin or foliage) and inorganic surfaces (like metals or fabrics).  
  • Implement shaders that define how materials interact with light and react to environmental conditions. 
  • Familiarity with GenAI tools across production-relevant categories — Essential: image generation (Midjourney, Adobe Firefly, Freepik, Leonardo.ai); video and motion generation (Runway ML, Kling, Pika, Higgsfield, and awareness of Google Veo); in-pipeline AI (Photoshop Generative Fill/Expand, Topaz Gigapixel/Video AI, Magnific AI); 3D asset generation (Meshy, Tripo3D) for concepting and blocking. Advantageous: ComfyUI/Stable Diffusion for advanced workflow integration. The ability to integrate these tools meaningfully into a production pipeline — and to know when not to use them — is more important than tool-name familiarity alone. 
  • Ability to present to client and collaborate 
  • An eye for detail (no typos or pixelated edges, please). 
  • Must be hands-on and enjoy working with a team. 
  • A love of good design, motion graphics and storytelling. 
  • Willingness to accept feedback and iterate over designs in a highly-collaborative, low-ego team environment. 
  • Curiosity, creativity, and ambition. 
  • The ability to take a project from concept to completion, good communication, organizational, and time management skills are essential. 
  • Ensure final deliverables exceed design and production requirements and expectations. 
  • Expertise in design and animation across all platforms. 

 

You’ll have:  

  • Relevant degree, diploma or demonstrated experience. 
  • An excellent portfolio of varied CGI work. 
  • Excellent spoken English. 

 

Not essential but an advantage:   

  • Experience in Product Visualization for global Technology, Premium Electronics, Luxury, FMCG and Premium brands.  
  • Multi-market experience
