This role is eligible for our hybrid work model: Two days in-office.

Why this job’s a big deal: 

You  will support the Priceline Risk & Controls team in performing a broad range of operational and financial risk management responsibilities. In this position, you’ll be responsible for maintaining Sarbanes-Oxley (“SOX”) compliance, including support of the evaluation and testing of the design and operating efficiency of Priceline’s internal controls. 

In this role you will get to:

  • Support SOX control testing strategy to facilitate early control failure warnings

  • Facilitate and conclude upon SOX impact assessment for key technology changes

  • Maintain data quality and hygiene of Priceline’s Risk and Controls Matrix (RCM)

  • AuditBoard, including maintenance of process flow diagrams, narratives, and control details 

  • Manage and coordinate audit activities 

  • Oversee and monitor the timely execution of controls by the first line of defense through periodic control certifications 

  • Perform end-to-end process reviews, providing support and advice to management and the first line of defense on process risks, control gaps, and control design

  • Partner with Booking Holdings Risk & Controls and Internal Audit to coordinate plans and ensure appropriate coverage of risks 

  • Monitor remediation of control deficiencies identified and provide recommendations for operational improvements 

Who you are:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (CPA/CIA Preferred) 

  • 3-4 years of SOX/audit experience (Public Accounting Preferred) 

  • Good working knowledge of US GAAP, COSO and SOX 

  • Ability to build solid relationships with senior leaders, global cross-functional teams, and external consultants 

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills 

  • Strong problem solving and negotiation skills 

  • Strong Excel and data analysis skills 

  • Advanced time management skills 

  • Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills

Flexible work at Priceline

Priceline is following a hybrid working model, which includes two days onsite as determined by you and your manager (ideally selecting among Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday). On the remaining days, you can choose to be remote or in the office.
