Leads end-to-end architecture and implementation of Azure cloud data warehouses, lakes, lakehouses, and batch or real-time pipelines. Designs scalable data models, integrates and transforms data from diverse sources, optimizes big-data processing, and implements security, encryption, access controls, and governance using Azure services, Databricks, Microsoft Fabric, and Azure Purview.
This is a remote position.
The Azure Data Architect leads the end-to-end design of cloud data warehouses, data lakes, and data pipelines. This role connects business goals with technical execution, making sure data systems are secure, fast, and cost-effective.
Requirements
* 10+ years of experience, with robust hands-on background in Azure data environments
* Build scalable data warehouses, lakehouses, and storage systems using Azure SQL, Cosmos DB, and Azure Data Lake
* Create batch and real-time data ingestion streams using Azure Data Factory, Synapse Analytics, and Event Hubs
* Optimize big data processing with Azure Databricks and Microsoft Fabric
* Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Engineer Associate or Azure Solutions Architect Expert
