About the Role:
As a Senior QA Engineer, you will help different product lanes in ensuring bug free product releases, defining the system and processes to identify bugs which will help in delivering error free Program/Software/Product. You will work to bring out new initiatives to improve the product and processes and communicate with the product and engineering teams to bring about these improvements, maintain comprehensive -test documentation and bring in automation where possible.
What will you do:
- Prepare test plans, scenarios and write programs to test the software so as to identify bugs and enable bug free scalable software production
- Collaborate with cross functional teams to define acceptance criteria of software
- Participate in requirements, design, review meetings and evaluate requirements testability
- Understand and analyze Business, Functional, Technical, Mobile applications and UI (User Interface) testing requirements, protocols and standards
- Prepare reports on software testing and educate cross functional teams with common or trending bug/ failure scenarios to enable right first time programs
- Automate test cases for both UI and API scenarios of your team. Contribute to automation frameworks where applicable.
What are we looking for?
Must have:
- BS/MS degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
- Experience in working with Web, Mobile and API Testing in both Automation & Manual testing using Agile m-ethodologies
- 5+ years of experience in QA, preferably with Product Companies
- 2+ years of experience in Automation
- Strong experience developing in Java or Javascript
- Experience in using UI and/or API test automation tools
Good to have:
- Experience with Continuous Integration systems (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab, Bamboo)
- Experience with Karate or TestCafe a plus
- Security + Scale testing experience

- Bug free release
- Number of bugs encountered past passthrough
- Functionality coverage through automation
- Comprehensive test documentation, bug report, test cases
- Effective and transparent communication
