Job Description
We are looking for a Senior Associate with 7–9 years of experience in Functional, automation, and insurance domain. The candidate should be capable of driving test strategy, creating test plans, coordinating with upstream/downstream systems, and leading execution across automation and manual testing.
Mandatory Skills:
- Experienced in defining test strategies and creating test plans
- Skilled in analyzing business requirements, identifying test conditions, and designing high-quality manual test scenarios.
- Demonstrated expertise in defect management, including triage and prioritization, with the ability to diagnose issues and report defects effectively.
- Experienced in integration and system testing across upstream and downstream systems.
- Strong communication skills for collaborating with BAs, developers, and business users.
- At least two projects of experience in automation testing (Selenium, UFT, Cypress, etc.)
- Hands-on API testing experience with Postman or SOAP UI in at least 1–2 projects
- Domain knowledge in life insurance, annuities, or similar regulated industries
- Excellent communication and coordination abilities
- Experience with Agile methodology, including QA in sprints, and working in an Agile development environment using JIRA and Zephyr.
- Ability to define and track QA metrics, with basic experience in test data management.
- Executes manual or automated test cases to validate functionality and code quality, reports test results, and adheres to formal test architectures and project processes.
- Demonstrates ownership and autonomy in managing tasks proactively through to completion
