Senior Executive

Role Location: Ebene, Mauritius

Department: Corporate Services

Employment Type: Permanent

 

Role & Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Responsible for the administration of a defined and varied set of client servicing deliverables for a portfolio of clients.
  • Be proactive and provide prompt, excellent and professional administration services.
  • Develop full awareness of individual clients, structures and their requirements.
  • Liaise externally with Regulators, Banks, Auditors and other stakeholders.
  • Ensure all client servicing and support requests are delivered accurately, efficiently and in line with relevant Policies, Procedures and Regulations.
  • Maintaining proper records in accordance with internal and legal requirements.
  • Convene meetings of directors/shareholders, prepare Board papers with high quality of deliverables.
  • Draft and review minutes drafted by team members.
  • Maintain statutory registers in accordance with Mauritius Companies Act 2001.
  • Process changes in director and shareholders.
  • Process distributions in accordance with the Constitution of the clients and Mauritius Companies Act 2001.
  • Interaction with auditors for provision of statutory documents with respect to annual audit.
  • Liaise with Board directors for execution of documents and regular updates.
  • Completion and follow-up of Certification, Notarisation, Apostillation, Consularisation of documents on a timely basis.
  • Attend to quarterly or annual Business Account Reviews by banks.
  • Maintain bank accounts, including bank account opening, initiate transfers and liaising with the bank.
  • Effect statutory filings with FSC, ROC and other statutory bodies
  • Liaison with D&O/PI insurance providers on behalf of the Client.
  • Effect customer due diligence (CDD) as per AML Code and maintain an updated list of CDD for all companies.
  • Ensure databases and core records are kept up to date and all relevant activity and transactions within scope of role are captured in the appropriate system.
  • Conduct administrative and/or client risk reviews on company structures.
  • Assist in winding up of companies.
  • Train junior staff and coordinate their work effectively.
  • Comply with the Group’s internal control and audit standards and provide assistance for the annual audit.
  • Participate in ad-hoc client servicing projects or other matters as directed.

 

Skills & Experiences Required:

 

  •                 3+ years of working experience in the Global Business Sector or a Cosec role would be an advantage;
  •                 Holds a degree or has completed/ substantially completed a professional ACA or ACCA or ICSA qualification or equivalent;
  •                 Demonstrate a client service mindset when servicing the client;
  •                 Proficient in MS Office (Microsoft Word, Excel).
  •                 Good written and spoken communications skills.
  •                 Able to multi-task, prioritize and manage time effectively.
  •                 Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.
  •                 Goal-oriented and an organized team player.
  •                 Quick learner and able to adapt in different work environment.
  •                 Well organised and a track record of working to tight deadlines.
  •                 Able to work under pressure.
