Job Description

Purpose of the role

To support PBWM with day-to-day processing, reviewing, reporting, and issue resolution. 

Accountabilities

  • Support with day-to-day Private Bank and Wealth Management initiatives including processing, reviewing, reporting, and issue resolution with regards to accounts, products and services.
  • Support the management of the banks client relations to clearly identify their needs and provide a service that meets expectations.
  • Collaboration with teams across the bank to align and integrate Private Bank and Wealth Management processes.
  • Identification of areas for improvement and providing recommendations for change in Private Bank and Wealth Management processes.
  • Development and implementation of Private Bank and Wealth Management procedures and controls to mitigate risks and maintain operational efficiency.
  • Development of reports and presentations on Private Bank and Wealth Management performance and communicate findings to internal senior stakeholders.
  • Identification of industry trends and developments to implement best practice in Private Bank and Wealth Management Services.
  • Participation in projects and initiatives to improve Private Bank and Wealth Management efficiency and effectiveness.

Step into the role of Senior Analyst - Operations at Barclays, where you'll play a pivotal role in shaping the future. In this pivotal role you will manage operations within a business area and maintain processes, risk management initiatives, and compliance with relevant regulators. You will take ownership of your work, ensuring it aligns with the relevant rules & regulations, and codes of conduct.

 You will focus on delivering high-quality operational support across Wealth Management and Mortgage Operations by ensuring accurate processing, regulatory compliance, and exceptional customer service. The role works closely with internal stakeholders to resolve complex queries, manage documentation, and contribute to continuous process improvement within Barclays.
You may be assessed on key critical skills relevant for success in role such as:

  • Process and review mortgage applications, customer documentation, and lending requests while ensuring compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.

  • Collaborate with cross functional teams and stakeholders to deliver seamless customer service and improve operational efficiency.

  • Support process improvement initiatives by operational risks, recommending enhancements, and driving service excellence.

  • Prepare and maintain accurate reports and documentation while ensuring data integrity and audit readiness.

Desirable skills set:

  • Strong knowledge of Mortgage Operations, Lending Criteria, Debt Assessments, and Documentation processes.

  • Experience in Wealth Management, Banking Operations, or Financial Services with a strong customer service focus.

  • Proactive, customer-focused, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced operational environment.

  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
