Title: Senior Analyst – Investment Accounting Services - ULD
Function: Investment Operations
Sub Function: Unit Linked Dealing
Location: Mumbai

Job Purpose:
Unit Linked Dealing team an integral process of Investment Accounting Services function where team perform daily dealing activities for Prudential Assurance Company (PAC) and Prudential Pension Limited (PPL) funds that are traded on daily basis. Like placing trades for Subscription & Redemptions, making fund transfers to different fund managers via Internal Account Transfers or Telegraphic Transfers , Cash & Position reconciliations for all the funds and Deals confirmation in pControl also Daily price checks.
Key Responsibilities:
Good understanding of NAV calculations for the Unit Linked funds.
Understanding of deal transactions like Subscriptions and Redemptions.
Managing investor transactions across multiple fund ranges, ensuring accurate and timely processing of subscriptions and redemptions via EMX / Euroclear or over fax before cut-off time.
Execute daily liquidity checks for all the funds to ensure sufficient cash availability for trading activities and no cash movement discrepancies.
Raise Internal Account Transfer and Telegraphic Transfers for movement of monies in relation to daily dealing activities.
Perform daily price checks to ensure no pricing errors.
Perform Monthly Reconciliations of Units of PPL & PAC funds using information from fund managers transfer agents.
Provide data like Fund Size and its monthly changes to PPL funds managers & Morningstar.
Reconcile Cash and Stock positions between M&G & Custodians.
Oversee GILP (Group Investment Linked Pension) range of funds dealing and conduct liquidity checks for any cash exceptions.
Perform Trade Reconciliation between pControl and EMX/IFDL.
Post Journals for daily internal and external funds accounts payments on oracle.
Ensure daily activities are completed within SLA by planning and scheduling work efficiently.
Good understanding of the Transfer Agency Operations as ULD team collaborate closely with this function.
Communicate with fund managers spread across the globe for unit price or other information needed.
Operate or assist with other Daily/Weekly/Monthly tasks, interacting with stakeholders for approvals.
Support stakeholders for any ad-hoc request.
Work collaboratively with colleagues and take personal accountability to maintain and enhance controls to support improvement of the overall process.
Knowledge & Skills :
Understanding of Transfer Agency Ops process.
Understanding of Dealing Trades like Subscriptions, Redemptions, Unit Transfers etc.
Cash & Position Reconciliation
Excellent communication. & ability to communicate at all levels within the organisation & externally.
Time Management and Workload Planning Skills
Good interpersonal skills.
Work under strict deadline environment.
Knowledge & Exposure to systems like - pControl, EMX/Clearstream/SWIFT/Pay flow, Oracle, MS Office (Outlook, Teams, Excel etc,)
Experience:
Graduate/Post Graduate preferably from Transfer Agency Operations and Fund Accounting functions with 3-5 years of experience.
Educational Qualification:
Graduate in Commerce or Accounting & Finance/ Masters in Finance with considerable post qualification.
Investment Banking Operations Certification.
