MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES & QUALIFICATIONS
Investment Operations responsibilities consist of Middle Office, Fund Administration, Performance & Attribution as well as Client Reporting.
Hands-on management of the daily activities of the Investment Operations team in India, which includes:
a) Oversee and monitor the CLO fund compliance on US and Euro CLOs.
b) Reconcile quarterly waterfall payments to ensure that expenses in the waterfall are accurately reflected.
c) Maintain CLO compliance modules in the system to assure correct calculation.
d) Review Indentures, Offering Circulars and other legal documents and model cash flow and compliance models based on them.
e) Perform operations role in various stages of CLO lifecycle (e.g., warehouse, closing, refinance, resets, and redemption.
f) Collaborate with Middle Office, Client Services, Compliance, Credit Research, and Portfolio Management teams on ad-hoc work in conjunction with managed portfolios – This may include, but is not limited to, dealing with ad-hoc investor requests for specialized information, working with external rating agencies, accountants, auditors, and underwriters who may be different for each different portfolio.
g) Conduct oversight of loan administration functions by analyzing data on agent notices related to
paydowns, borrowings, capitalized interest, rollovers, and restructures.
h) Monitor various security attributes and identifiers for Leveraged Loans held in the firm’s portfolios. This includes but is not limited to CUSIPs, LoanX IDs, Ratings, Recovery Rates, Industries, Spreads, and Maturities.
i) Assist in the production of monthly client reports comprised of portfolio characteristics, benchmark statistics, performance, and attribution.
j) Review cash flows and reconciliations to ensure proper collection and allocation of cash payments.
Develop and maintain a strong working partnership with all internal support functions, globally: mainly offices in Los Angeles, London, and New York, on operational matters.

Qualifications & Experience
• Hold a Bachelor’s Degree in a Finance, Management, Business Administration or related degree. MBA / CFA candidates preferred.
• Has 4+ years of Asset Management experience in middle office, fund administration, performance and attribution as well as client reporting; with a strong understanding of the entire end-to-end process.
• Highly motivated, team player, and self-starter.
• Leveraged loan / CLO operations experience preferred.
• Proficiency in reviewing legal documentation and financial modelling.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with all levels of staff and Senior Management.
• Outstanding analytical skills with the ability to understand business functions and processes quickly.
• Ability to be hands-on, flexible, follow tight deadlines, organize, and prioritize work and deliver results quickly.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication and collaboration skills, fluent in English.
High level of proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Access, and PowerPoint, Query based reporting and data visualizations tools.
