Position: Senior Account Manager
Summary: This position is responsible for, but not limited to, performing project and account management of customers, to ensure total customer satisfaction. Manage assigned channel partners or clients to meet sales targets.
Client Relationship Management:
- Develop and maintain robust relationships with key accounts
- Act as the primary liaison for top-tier accounts, ensuring their needs and expectations are consistently met
- Conduct regular client meetings to gather feedback and address concerns promptly
Sales and Revenue Growth
- Formulate and execute strategic sales plans to achieve revenue and growth targets for Laird’s product lines
- Identify and pursue opportunities for upselling and cross-selling within existing accounts
- Stay informed and follow up on leads from marketing and competitor activities to capitalize on new business opportunities
Technical Support and Solutions:
- Work closely with technical and product teams to provide clients with customized solutions, leveraging Laird’s advanced materials and technologies
- Ensure clear communication of client requirements to internal teams to facilitate the development of innovative solutions
- Offer technical support and training to clients, enhancing their understanding and use of Laird products
Account Strategy, Planning, and Execution:
- Develop comprehensive account plans for key customers, outlining needs, objectives, and strategies to achieve goals
- Conduct regular account reviews, needs translation, adjusting strategies based on performance data and customer feedback
- Work with management and coordinate with functional and support team to align strategics, resource, and executions
Reporting & Analysis
- Follow up and update reports on account performance, including sales forecasts, revenue analysis, and key metrics. Report on findings to the business
- Analyze sales data and market trends to identify growth opportunities and potential risk
- Utilize CRM systems to manage customer information and track all sales activities
Negotiation and Contract Management
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms of sale with key customers to optimize profitability while ensuring customer satisfaction
- Ensure all agreements comply with company policies and industry regulations
- Efficiently manage contract renewals and extensions
Requirements:
- Proficient in CRM software and MS Office
- Fluent in English and local language
- Team player, collaborative, and good interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships at all levels within the company and with customers
- Strong problem-solving skills, proactively addressing customers’ needs and issues
- Self-driven, goal-oriented, and customer-focused, with a strong drive to exceed expectations
- Highly organized and capable of managing multiple priorities and deadlines effectively
- Ability to analyze and interpret data effectively
- Ability to adapt to new changes and environments
- Ability to travel domestically and abroad frequently (30% and up)
- Ability to see situations from big picture/macro view.
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical & engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field
- Proven experience as a key account manager, preferably within electronics, telecom/datacom, or automotive industries
- Background in managing high-value accounts and technology driven projects
- 3-5 years experience with Thermal / EMI solutions and related applications is a plus
- Distributor managmenet experience is a plus
