The individual will be responsible for driving Agile execution across one or more Reporting delivery teams, ensuring adherence to Scrum and SDLC standards, managing dependencies and risks, and serving as a trusted partner to Product Owners, Data Engineering, Business, and Governance stakeholders. The role emphasizes delivery transparency, continuous improvement, and disciplined execution in a complex, regulated data environment.

Key Responsibilities

Agile & Scrum Leadership

  • Serve as Scrum Master for Reporting delivery teams, ensuring consistent and effective execution of Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily standups, backlog refinement, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.

  • Act as the accountable owner for Agile flow and discipline, ensuring sprint commitments are realistic, achievable, and aligned to business priorities.

  • Coach team members, Product Owners, and stakeholders on Agile principles, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and accountability.

  • Identify, track, and proactively remove impediments and blockers impacting delivery velocity or quality.

Program & Delivery Management

  • Plan, track, and manage delivery of Reporting initiatives across multiple sprints and releases, ensuring alignment to roadmap commitments.

  • Manage cross‑team dependencies, risks, and escalations, partnering with IT, Data Engineering, Business, and external vendors as needed.

  • Provide clear, concise delivery status reporting, including sprint metrics, milestone progress, risks, and mitigation plans.

  • Ensure delivery adheres to enterprise SDLC, governance, and compliance standards applicable to Reporting and data products.

Stakeholder & Business Partnership

  • Partner closely with Product Owners and Business stakeholders to ensure backlog readiness, well‑defined user stories, and clear acceptance criteria.

  • Facilitate alignment between business priorities and technical execution, balancing scope, timeline, and quality.

  • Act as a point of coordination between Reporting teams and adjacent CDO, IT, and Governance functions.

Metrics, Transparency & Continuous Improvement

  • Own and maintain Agile delivery metrics such as velocity, sprint predictability, throughput, and defect trends.

  • Use data and insights to drive continuous improvement discussions with the team and leadership.

  • Promote best practices in estimation, planning, and retrospectives to improve delivery outcomes over time.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, Business, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

  • 3+ years of hands‑on experience as a Scrum Master or Agile Project Manager.

  • Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum frameworks and SDLC processes in enterprise environments.

  • Proven ability to manage complex dependencies and work across cross‑functional teams (Business, Data, Engineering, QA, Governance).

  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting Reporting, Data, BI, or Analytics platforms in a regulated or data‑intensive environment.

  • Scrum Master certification (CSM, PSM I/II) and/or Project Management certification (PMP, PMI‑ACP).

  • Experience working within an enterprise data organization.

  • Familiarity with Agile tooling such as Azure DevOps, Jira, or similar platforms.

  • Familiarity with Smartsheet as a Scheduling tool.

What Success Looks Like in This Role

  • Reporting teams deliver consistently against sprint and release commitments with high transparency.

  • Stakeholders have confidence in delivery timelines, risks, and tradeoffs.

  • Agile practices are followed with discipline while remaining pragmatic and outcome‑focused.

  • Delivery metrics improve over time, reflecting increased predictability, quality, and team maturity.
