The Scripting Developer will develop software on the Unix platform, focusing on scripting using Shell and Perl while ensuring documentation and database relationship understanding.
Knowledge / Experience
- Extensive experience of Software Development on Unix platform (Pref – IBM AIX)
- Experience in writing design or specification documents
- Understanding reporting tools and data selection
- Clear understanding on database relationships
- Good Problem solving, analytical and time management skills
- Knowledge of the financial services marketplace
Skills
- Hands – on experience in scripting (Shell and/or Perl)
- Should have minimum 2 years of shell scripting experience
- Clear understanding on database relationships
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent troubleshooting skills
- Preferrable if having basic knowledge of Autosys
