Where You’ll Make a Difference

  • Ideation - Stimulate the participation of the IFF community in finding new consumer solutions and development processes.

  • CI strategy - Define what to learn from consumers to gain competitive advantage and build a value proposition.

  • Develop and implement innovation strategies that bring competitive product solutions to win business and position IFF as the innovation leader.

  • Connect market, customer and consumer needs to identify and trigger business opportunities and provide recommendations that drive business results.

  • Partner with internal stakeholders to ensure fragrance strategies align to overall business objectives.

  • Implement the fragrance development strategy and manage the fragrance selection to identify new winning fragrances for incoming briefs.

  • Develop deep understanding of market, consumer and customer needs aligned with innovation and project needs.

  • Partner with marketing on a regular basis to leverage insights on customers brands and key markets.

  • Manage internal and external stakeholders.

What Makes You the Right Fit

  • Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in chemistry, Fragrance, Marketing, Business or any other relevant discipline.

  • Minimum 8-10 years relevant experience in an international environment.

  • Excellent Olfactive communication skills which supports the overall creative process – discriminate, describe (association) and odor memory.

  • Ability to effectively identify potential fragrances based on market relevance.

  • Manage the execution of the Olfactive strategy by providing creative direction and (Olfactive) guidance to Perfumers in order to stimulate creativity.

  • Excellent influencing skills across levels within the organization.

  • Strong project management and prioritization skills.

  • English language fluency, other language proficiency is a plus.

  • Willing to travel.
