Job Title: SBL Financial Control Analyst, NCT
Location: Mumbai, India
Role Description:
The Business Finance function is responsible for the production of business level revenue attribution, financial accounting, and financial disclosures. It also ensures effective use of Capital and Balance sheet by participating in Compression cycles organized by Trioptima. The person responsible will have to identify trades that are eligible for Compression based on pre-decided parameters such as Maturity of trade, risk threshold shared by each trading desks etc. The process is routine but needs exceptional attention to detail and quick resolution of any breaks since these will have PL& Capital impact for DB.

Your Key Responsibilities
- Responsible for the accurate submission of trades into Compression cycles.
- Perform, post cycle validation of trades submitted for compression. Work with Kannon STRATS team to resolve the break between what was submitted for Compression vs the outcome. Send notifications to desk.
- Ensure that Risk & PL are flat before and after the execution of compression cycles.
- Stakeholder management by prompt response to various queries/issues from Front office/Traders, Compliance, Vendors (Tripoptima etc) and Risk management, etc.
- Understand trade flows, booking structures and ensure that the trades are captured in accordance with such defined structure which will enable accurate funding cost allocation through Funds transfer pricing.
- Ensure compliance to risk and control guidelines.
Your skills and experience
- Strong understanding of financial market products such as IRS, XCCY Swaps, FRA etc
- Knowledge / experience of front to back Investment Banking environment (trade capture to balance sheet)
- Understanding of EMIR guidelines would be an advantage.
- Ability to manage time effectively, prioritizes responsibilities, and escalates issues as necessary.
- Exposure to multiple front office systems such as Kannon (STRATS) and Summit would be preferred.
Education:
- Preferably qualified Finance Graduate, MBA/Chartered Accountant.
