We're on the hunt for a seasoned SAP Basis professional skilled in SAP Basis, cloud migration, and RISE with SAP S/4HANA, ideally with 8-12 years of experience. The role focuses on managing SAP systems, supporting migrations to cloud environments, and leveraging SAP's RISE initiative.
Job Title: SAP Basis, Migration, Cloud & RISE Specialist
Responsibilities:
SAP Basis Administration:
Install, configure, and maintain SAP systems, including ECC, S/4HANA, BW, PI/PO, and Solution Manager.
Cloud Migration:
Lead and support cloud migration projects, including SAP ECC migration to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP, or private cloud), according to a Naukri.com job posting.
SAP RISE Expertise:
Understand and apply RISE with SAP S/4HANA Cloud Private Edition, including technical aspects and platform interdependencies.
Database Management:
Manage database administration tasks for HANA, Oracle, or SQL Server.
System Monitoring and Performance Tuning:
Monitor SAP system performance and perform tuning to ensure high availability and scalability.
Migration & Conversion:
Experience with system refresh/copy, client administration, and application updates/upgrades.
Cloud ALM:
Knowledge and understanding of Cloud ALM (Application Lifecycle Management).
Technical Leadership:
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, provide technical guidance, and contribute to project success.
Problem Solving:
Troubleshoot and resolve Basis-related issues promptly.
Security and Compliance:
Ensure security and compliance in SAP environments, especially in cloud environments.
SAP BTP:
Experience with SAP BTP (Business Technology Platform) administration, connectivity setup, and service enablement.
Solution Manager:
Experience in SAP Solution Manager 7.2 setups for technical monitoring scenarios.
Required Skills & Experience:
SAP Basis Expertise: Strong hands-on experience in SAP Basis administration, including installations, upgrades, and migrations.
Cloud Migration: Proven experience in migrating SAP systems to cloud platforms.
SAP HANA: Experience with HANA database administration, including upgrades, table partitioning, and performance tuning.
Cloud Infrastructure: Knowledge of cloud infrastructure concepts, including storage, virtualization, and networking.
RISE with SAP S/4HANA: Familiarity with RISE and its technical aspects, including cloud private edition.
SAP BTP: Experience with SAP BTP, including subaccount provisioning, connectivity, and service enablement.
Problem-solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Teamwork: Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Project Management: Experience in managing and supporting migration projects.
SAP certifications: Desirable (e.g., C_TADM70_21 and E_S4HCON2020).
Education & Qualifications:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
