As a resource you will be part of Internal SAP Technical team and will be responsible for ABAP developments in SAP ERP. The Internal team is owner and custodian of all custom developments in SAP system. The team handles various types of SAP related initiatives like roll outs, implementation, upgrade, support, enhancements, and Integrations.
As a Software Engineer, you will be responsible for:
Participating in complete SAP projects / rollouts, will be involved in projects and support initiatives.
Collaborating with Technical and Functional leads, Project Managers, and cross functional stakeholders/partners for development activities.
Demonstrating and maintaining a commitment to quality, security, efficiency, and maintainability.
Coordinating process design or re-engineering with project manager and communicating in an ever changing, highly matrixed organization.
Designing and implementing codes test and maintaining automated and manual processes in support of business needs and/or corporate strategy.
Translating business requirements into technical design documentation, additional responsibilities include code and design review of IT applications.
Fuel your passion
To be successful in this role you will:
Have a bachelor’s degree in information systems, Information Technology (IT), Computer Science, or Engineering with 5 years of experience in IT.
Have minimum 3 years of SAP experience
Have experience in new implementations / roll-out / Enhancements and Support
Have experience in all technical aspects of custom development in SAP environment including reports, forms (SAP Script and Smart Forms), Interface development and conversion.
Have experience and knowledge of all interface/conversion development techniques in SAP – Files, RFC, IDOCs, Proxies, Web Service, LSMW.
Have experience with Object Oriented ABAP, SAP Workflow, Adobe forms, Debugging utilities, SAP enhancement framework, and Testing documentation.
Show cross functional knowledge of SAP Modules with proficiency in at least 1 module
Show ability to work with globally distributed multi-cultural teams.
Have exposure to ABAP on BTP, Fiori developments, developments in S4HANA
Have proficiency written and oral communication skills
Have exposure to project management tools, SAP-BI, ABAP-HR, SAP PI (Preferrable)
