The SAP PP Consultant will lead S/4HANA implementations focusing on production planning, drive process optimization, and collaborate with stakeholders for effective solution delivery.

We are looking for a seasoned SAP PP (Production Planning) Consultant with deep expertise in S/4HANA implementations and a strong background in manufacturing environments. This role requires a hands-on functional expert who can lead complex transformations, drive process optimization, and act as a trusted advisor to business stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end SAP S/4HANA implementations for Production Planning (PP)
- Drive business process design, blueprinting, and solution architecture for manufacturing operations
- Configure and optimize core PP functionalities including:
- MRP (MRP Live in S/4HANA)
- Production Orders / Process Orders
- BOMs (Bill of Materials)
- Routings / Work Centers
- Capacity Planning & Scheduling
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to align SAP solutions with shop floor operations and production processes
- Lead integration design with MM, EWM, SD, QM, and FI modules
- Oversee data migration, system testing (SIT/UAT), and go-live activities
- Identify process improvement opportunities and recommend best practices leveraging S/4HANA capabilities
- Provide leadership during hypercare and post-go-live support
- Mentor junior consultants and guide cross-functional teams
- Work closely with technical teams on enhancements (RICEFW objects)
Required Skills & Experience
- 10+ years of SAP experience with deep specialization in SAP PP
- Proven track record of multiple full lifecycle S/4HANA implementations (3+ preferred)
- Strong expertise in discrete and/or process manufacturing environments
- Hands-on experience with MRP Live, Advanced Planning concepts, and production execution
- Strong integration experience with MM, QM, SD, EWM, and FI
- Experience in complex manufacturing scenarios (make-to-stock, make-to-order, engineer-to-order)
- Strong knowledge of master data (BOM, Routing, Work Centers, Production Versions)
- Exposure to Fiori apps and S/4HANA innovations in manufacturing
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
Preferred Qualifications
- SAP certification in S/4HANA Production Planning (PP)
- Experience with PP-DS (Production Planning and Detailed Scheduling) is a strong plus
- Prior experience with manufacturing clients in North America (Oil & Gas, Industrial Manufacturing, Automotive, etc.)
- Familiarity with shop floor integration / MES systems

- Strong leadership and stakeholder management capabilities
- Ability to drive workshops and influence senior business users
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, client-facing environment
Nice to Have
- Experience in greenfield, brownfield, or hybrid S/4HANA transformations
- Exposure to SAP Digital Manufacturing / Industry 4.0 solutions
- Knowledge of Lean manufacturing and process optimization frameworks
