The SAP FICO Consultant will configure and support relevant modules, manage migration projects to S/4HANA, improve financial processes, and handle financial closing activities.
We are seeking an SAP FICO Consultant with strong functional knowledge in both ECC and S/4HANA Finance and Controlling. Domain expertise in Mining or Oil & Gas is highly desired.
Key Responsibilities
- Configure and support FI and CO modules (GL, AP, AR, AA, CCA, PCA, COPA).
- Work on migration projects from ECC to S/4HANA (New GL, Universal Ledger).
- Design financial process improvements and automation solutions.
- Support month-end/year-end financial closing activities.
- Integrate with logistics (MM, SD), asset management, and project systems.
- Develop functional specs for enhancements and custom reports.
Required Skills
- 5–12+ years of SAP FICO experience.
- Strong ECC + S/4HANA Finance exposure (Universal Journal, Fiori).
- Deep knowledge of taxation, asset accounting, and controlling cycles.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in joint venture accounting, asset-intensive accounting, or cost allocations used in Mining or O&G.
- Exposure to regulatory reporting and IFRS processes.
