The SAP FICO Consultant will lead the design and deployment of SAP FICO modules in S/4HANA, focusing on Oil & Gas industry needs. Responsibilities include collaboration with stakeholders, supporting integration, conducting workshops, and ensuring compliance.
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced SAP FICO Consultant with a strong background in the Oil & Gas industry and hands-on experience in S/4HANA implementations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, configuring, and optimizing SAP Finance and Controlling processes to support critical business operations, with a focus on industry-specific requirements such as Joint Venture Accounting, Production Sharing, and Revenue Recognition.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design, configuration, and deployment of SAP FICO modules (GL, AP, AR, AA, CO, COPA, CCA, PCA) in an S/4HANA environment.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand requirements, translate them into system solutions, and deliver end-to-end FICO processes tailored for Oil & Gas operations.
- Support integration with other modules such as MM, SD, PP, PM, and IS-Oil.
- Provide expertise in Finance Transformation projects, including migration from ECC to S/4HANA.
- Conduct workshops, system demos, and training for business users.
- Support data migration, testing cycles, and cutover activities for go-live.
- Ensure compliance with financial standards, controls, and reporting requirements.
- Provide post-implementation support and enhancements.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in finance, Accounting, IT, or related field.
- 8+ years of SAP FICO experience, with at least 2 full-cycle S/4HANA implementations.
- Strong domain knowledge in Oil & Gas industry processes (Upstream, Midstream, or Downstream).
- Expertise in Joint Venture Accounting, Production Sharing, Asset Accounting, and Revenue Accounting.
- Hands-on experience in S/4HANA Finance innovations (Universal Journal, Central Finance, New Asset Accounting).
- Strong integration knowledge with SD, MM, PS, and IS-Oil modules.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and client-facing skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, global, and multicultural environment.
Preferred
- SAP Certification in FICO and/or S/4HANA Finance.
- Experience in Upstream Oil & Gas Accounting (Exploration, Drilling, Production, and Cost Allocation).
- Prior experience in large-scale global rollouts.
- Knowledge of Regulatory and Tax compliance in Oil & Gas sectors.
