Position Overview
The Salesforce Developer with 3-5 years of experience is a pivotal role within our organization, responsible for designing, developing, and implementing Salesforce solutions to meet business needs. This role requires in-depth knowledge of Salesforce platform capabilities, best practices, and customization techniques. The Salesforce Developer collaborates closely with stakeholders to understand requirements, translate them into technical solutions, and deliver high-quality Salesforce implementations.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and customize Salesforce solutions using declarative features such as Process Builder, Workflows, and Validation Rules.
- Develop Apex classes, triggers, Visualforce pages, Lightning components, and other custom solutions to extend Salesforce functionality.
- Implement integrations between Salesforce and external systems using APIs, web services, and middleware platforms.
- Collaborate with business analysts, administrators, and other developers to gather requirements and ensure alignment with business objectives.
- Perform code reviews, unit testing, and deployment activities to ensure code quality and reliability.
- Troubleshoot and debug issues within Salesforce applications, identifying root causes and implementing solutions.
- Stay updated on Salesforce platform updates, new features, and industry trends to recommend best practices and optimizations.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers and team members. Document technical specifications, design decisions, and implementation details.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, backlog grooming, and retrospectives.
Requirements:
- Total Salesforce development experience of 3-5 years working on deployment teams, ideally using Agile development techniques.
- Strong experience in writing code in Apex, Visualforce, and Lightning (Aura & Web) as per Salesforce Best Practices (MUST)
- Decent knowledge of CSS, HTML5, JavaScript
- Experience working on Salesforce Cloud offerings like – Community Cloud, Sales Cloud, and Service Cloud
- In-depth experience of using Process Builders and Flows
- Strong experience in Salesforce Declarative skills
- Decent experience of working on Salesforce Integration
- PD1 certification is mandatory
