We are a leader in the high-end bathroom and wellness sector, seeking a strategic and dynamic individual contributor to drive our growth within Mumbai's and India's premium architectural and design community. This role is pivotal in embedding our luxury products into the blueprint of the most prestigious residential, commercial, and hospitality projects.
Beyond the local market, this position offers a unique opportunity to tap into a global network. You will collaborate with our Asia-Pacific and International Project Teams to leverage their relationships with premier architectural and design firms, securing project specifications for the Indian market and contributing to our regional pipeline.
The ideal candidate is a seasoned professional who understands the international project specification sales cycle and thrives on influencing specifications at the higher level.
Key Responsibilities:
- Architect & Designer Channel Strategy (India): Develop and execute a strategic plan to build a robust network and strong mindshare within the top-tier architectural and interior design firms across key Indian markets, with a primary focus on Mumbai.
- Global Network Collaboration: Actively engage with our Asia network and international project teams to identify and secure specifications for upcoming India projects from global and regional architecture firms (A&D firms).
- Project Specification & Pull-Through: Own the specification process from initial concept to final order, ensuring our luxury products are detailed in project plans for both locally sourced and internationally-led projects.
- Strategic Relationship Management: Cultivate deep, long-term relationships with key decision-makers at both leading Indian firms and the local offices of international design practices.
- Cross-Border Project Execution: Collaborate with international teams to ensure a seamless handover and flawless execution of specified projects within India, upholding our global brand standards.
- Market Intelligence & Influence: Serve as the local expert, providing insights on high-value projects and trends, while also feeding intelligence on international firm activity in India back to the regional team.
- Technical Consultation & Support: Conduct high-impact presentations and provide bespoke technical solutions to design firms, acting as their trusted advisor for luxury bathroom and wellness solutions.
Required Qualifications & Experience:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Interior Design, Business, or Marketing is highly preferred.
- A minimum of 5-7 years of proven Project Sales / Specification Sales experience, specifically within the high-end architectural, interior design, or luxury building materials sector.
- Non-negotiable: An existing and demonstrable network of contacts with architects, interior designers, and key specifiers in Mumbai/India.
- Experience in collaborating with international or regional teams is a significant advantage.
- Deep understanding of the project lifecycle, from design and tender to procurement and installation.
- Exceptional presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage senior-level stakeholders across cultures.
- A results-driven, self-starter attitude with a proven track record of meeting and exceeding ambitious targets.
