Purification Technologies products are essential across a broad spectrum of industries, from providing clean drinking water and treating groundwater, to supporting food and beverage production, nuclear power generation, and advanced mineral processing. These technologies enable critical processes such as water softening and demineralization, sugar purification, removal of harmful radionuclides, and the extraction and concentration of valuable elements like gold, silver, and uranium from mineral ores. With hundreds of new applications discovered each year, the versatility and impact of ion-exchange resins continue to expand, shaping a better future for countless industries and communities.

What you’ll do:

  • Enhance the profile of Purolite Resins in the marketplace.
  • Manage and develop existing accounts, in addition seek new business opportunities within the territory. 
  • Implement agreed sales strategies and achieve objectives.
  • Serve as a close liaison with colleagues to enable the customer to receive efficient and effective services.
  • Solicit feedback on new potential business opportunities from leadership 
  • Partner with finance and leadership to establish the annual sales budget.
  • Keep up to date with new developments within the business and industry.
  • Provide day to day technical and commercial support of the customer base, including:
  • Demonstrate technical competence in ion exchange product knowledge and applications
  • Troubleshoot customer problems
  • Handle customer complaints
  • Liaise and support other offices on product and client information.
  • Handle resin sample testing/sample requests
  • Maintain and distribute critical records e.g. visit reports, quotations listings, tech, service/sample requests
  • Maintain customer data in a CRM system.
  • Provide production planning input

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, science, or related field
  • Ion exchange experience
  • 15 years of technical experience.
  • Ability to travel 60%
  • Previous people manager experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree or higher.
  • Experience in relationship management and negotiation.
  • Strategic and global mindset.
  • Business acumen.
  • Strong commercial acumen and understanding of pricing.
  • Collaborative and able to present, communicate, and drive for results.
  • Strong consulting, analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • High sense of urgency.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook.
