We are now looking for a Sales Manager to join our UPM Adhesive Materials team. This position is located in Dubai, UAE.
What you will do
In this role, you will have full commercial responsibility for your country or region while contributing to profitable and sustainable growth. You will help implement our regional strategy, guide pricing decisions and share insight on customer needs and market developments. You will manage a medium-sized or large sales budget and work to achieve defined sales and customer objectives. You will be reporting to Sr. Country Manager, South of Asia.
Your main tasks are:
Develop and implement sales plans, activities and campaigns for assigned geographies, market segments or customer groups
Build strong relationships with current and potential customers, negotiate agreements and maintain active communication. Manage and collaborate effectively with agencies to meet agreed service levels
Identify and develop new business opportunities with both existing / prospective customers
Prepare forecasts, budgets and sales targets. Track performance and adjust plans or resources as needed
Lead communication with customers in all case-handling situations (claims, feedback, inquiries and more)
Maintain close collaboration with Sales and Packaging Solution Managers across India to ensure reciprocal knowledge sharing
Who you are
You bring 5–10 years of experience in sales, ideally within the printing or packaging industry
You communicate clearly and professionally, both in writing and in speech, and you are fluent in English and the relevant local language
You enjoy building long‑term customer relationships and contribute to business growth through a collaborative, solutions‑oriented approach
You are familiar with key market segments such as food, pharma, personal care, liquor and beverages
You may already have established relationships with customers, distributors or agencies in the region — this is an advantage, but not required
