The Sales Account Manager is responsible for driving revenue growth by acquiring new customers, managing existing accounts, and achieving defined sales targets. This role requires a proactive, customer-focused professional with strong communication and negotiation skills to identify opportunities and deliver effective sales solutions.
- Generate new business through lead identification, cold calling, networking, referrals, and market research
- Manage and grow relationships with existing and prospective customers
- Understand customer requirements and recommend appropriate products or services
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets
- Prepare and deliver sales presentations, proposals, and quotations
- Negotiate pricing, contracts, and successfully close sales deals
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in SFDC systems
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and provide market insights
- Ensure timely payment collection and address customer issues effectively.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, or a related field
- 5–10 years of experience in sales, account management, or business development
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
- Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
- Customer-centric mindset with strong relationship-building abilities
- Experience using CRM systems, preferably Salesforce (SFDC)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Good understanding of market dynamics and competitive landscapes
