What you will do as an RPA Automation Developer
- Analyze business processes and identify opportunities for automation within the organization.
- Design, develop, and implement RPA solutions using Power Automate and other relevant tools to automate workflows and repetitive tasks.
- Customize and configure automation scripts, bots, and flows to meet the specific needs of the organization.
- Integrate the ticketing system/ITSM tool with other applications and services using Power Automate connectors and APIs or other RPA tools to enable end-to-end automation.
- Optimize existing workflows and automation processes for performance, scalability, and reliability.
- Ensure seamless data flow between the ticketing system/ITSM tool and other business systems.
- Conduct thorough testing of developed automation solutions to ensure they meet the desired outcomes and perform reliably in production environments.
- Debug and resolve issues identified during testing or reported by users, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
- Implement best practices for version control, documentation, and change management.
- Work closely with business stakeholders, process owners, and IT teams to gather requirements, understand pain points, and align automation solutions with business goals.
- Provide training and support to end-users and other team members on the use of automated workflows and processes.
- Ensure that automation solutions adhere to security, compliance, and governance standards.
- Proactively identify new opportunities for automation and process improvement within the organization.
- Provide recommendations and best practices for expanding automation capabilities across different business functions.
What ClearSource Needs from You
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience (4+ years) in RPA development with a strong focus on RPA tools and ITSM tools, preferably Power Automate and Freshservice ticketing system.
- Hands-on experience in designing, developing, and implementing automation workflows within Freshservice ticketing system or any ITSM tools.
- Experience with API integrations, scripting, and leveraging Power Automate connectors.
- Experience with AI, machine learning, or other advanced automation technologies is desirable.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms like Azure/M365 (preferred) AWS, or Google Cloud.
- Knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies, such as Agile or Scrum.
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in any RPA tools such as UiPath, Automation Anywhere, or Blue Prism, Lambda and Power Automate (preferred), including advanced flow creation, error handling, and optimization.
- Proficiency in any ITSM tool such as Freshservice (preferred) or Jira, Service Now, Zendesk, including its API, customization options, workflow automations and service management processes.
- Solid understanding of REST APIs, JSON, and webhooks.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills. (This candidate will work with potential clients, will handle client projects)
- Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively.
