Job Description

Strategy

  • Evaluate and report market trends
  • Capture customer voice and competitor information
  •  Customer retention/addition
  • Supports the Local Division Director and Local Business Head in strategy formulation
  • Strategy implementation

Business

  • Creation of business plan
  • Review and monitor the sales performance
  • Responsible for achieving the regional business plan- Sales, Order booking, Account receivable

Key account management

  •  Identified regional accounts (value, volume, future potential, reference etc.) direct management.
  • Leading the complete sales process for the assigned accounts
  •  Drives customer satisfaction, account retention and increase in business share/wallet share

Sales team management and mentoring 

  • Active participation in recruitment, on-boarding, and retention of sales team
  • Define team KRAs aligned to Division strategy
  •  Structured Review and feedback for continuous growth
  •  Identify the competency gaps, development needs and share the same with Local HR partner

Data transparency and reporting 

  • Monitoring the CRM database - potential, contacts, visit reports, offers, order loss analysis, opportunities, leads etc.  
  • Reporting the business status at agreed intervals to Division Director

Key interface

  • External o Customers- Design, Purchase, Supply chain, Leadership
  • Distributors/agents

Internal

  • Local Business Heads
  •  Supply chain & Warehouse- Local and Global
  •  Local application Engineering o Inside sales, Sales Administration
  •  Finance, HR, Marketing (Local)

Qualifications

YEARS OF EXPERIENCE - Minimum 12 years and more of relevant Industrial sales experience in capital/ consumable components, preferably in a MNC company

Qualification and Competencies:

  • B.E./B.Tech. in Mechanical/ Electrical / Electronic stream. MBA in marketing preferred but not mandatory
  • Understanding of production processes
  • Ability to understand the gaps, improvement areas and link the same to Stäubli solutions
  • Value selling- Conceptualize solution and commercial models
  • Willingness to collaborate, strong communication skills, quick learner
