WEKA is hiring its first Regional Sales Manager for Enterprise and Service Providers in India (Mumbai or New Delhi based).

This is a quota-carrying, hunter sales role focused on building and expanding WEKA’s presence across Enterprise and Service Provider accounts, with a focus on Energy, Telecommunications, Smart Cities and Manufacturing. The role targets organizations that require uncompromising speed, simplicity, scale, and sustainability for storing, managing, processing, and analyzing mission-critical data. You will be responsible for opening the market, developing pipeline from the ground up, and closing strategic opportunities across India.

Responsibilities Include
  • Demonstrate a deep understanding of WEKA and the value to our customers
  • Develop and execute against a strategic plan to create a sales pipeline while acquiring new logos in Enterprise and Service Provider accounts and maintaining positive ongoing relationships with customers
  • Cultivate new business within Energy, Telecommunications, Smart Cities and Manufacturing sectors and nurture strong, lasting relationships with existing customers
  • Accelerate customer adoption through education and engagement
  • Work with strategic and VAR partners to cultivate and manage joint selling opportunities
  • Collaborate on and improve all aspects of the sales cycle, including product, support, and sales engineering
  • Interface at many levels of WEKA senior management
Desired Qualifications
  • 10+ years of Enterprise IT Sales experience with preference for infrastructure and storage sales
  • 8+ years of experience selling into large enterprise and/or Service Provider accounts in India, with a focus on net new business
  • Own and execute the regional sales strategy across Enterprise and Service Provider accounts, particularly within Energy, Telecommunications, and Manufacturing sectors
  • Build and maintain senior-level relationships with key decision-makers, executives,  influencers, and stakeholders across assigned territories
  • Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed quota consistently in the India Enterprise market
  • Passion and desire to work in a startup culture directly impacting the growth of the company
  • Technical acumen as it relates to storage and networking
  • Proven track record of effective selling
  • Superb written and verbal communications skills
  • Ability to travel as needed for client meetings and industry events
