Optiver is looking for a self-starter and organized Recruitment Coordinator to join our Recruitment Team. As a Recruitment Coordinator, you’ll support the team’s hiring strategies by owning a streamlined candidate management and recruitment process, while driving continuous improvement. The business in Mumbai is newly established and deemed to be an integral part of the APAC strategy, with an anticipation of significant growth over the coming years.


What you’ll do:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for candidates, managing scheduling, interviews, travel, and visa queries.
  • Oversee end-to-end coordination for recruitment programs, including event logistics, travel arrangements, merchandise distribution, and stakeholder communication.
  • Plan and execute university career fairs, society events, and in-office engagements, in collaboration with with recruiters and business representatives.
  • Maintain and track candidate pipelines in the ATS, conduct system testing, ensure proper user access, and support compliance and assurance requirements.
  • Lead keep-in-touch initiatives, networking sessions, and candidate events while leveraging marketing assets and data insights to strengthen long-term engagement.
  • Partner with HR, Education, Marketing, and Recruitment Operations teams to identify process efficiencies, refine onboarding strategies, and enhance the overall effectiveness of recruitment programs.

 

Who you are:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in human resources, business, or a related field
  • 1+ years of experience in scheduling, coordination, Recruitment, HR, or other relevant experience is preferred
  • Proficient Microsoft Office Suite skills, particularly Excel and Outlook
  • Self-starter with strong organizational and analytical skills, attention to detail and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both oral and written
  • Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and other recruitment technology preferred
  • Located in Mumbai or willing to relocate for on-site work
