Job Summary
As an Analyst within the QIS Solutions team, you will collaborate with the global salesforce to structure and distribute Quantitative Investment Strategies (QIS) to Institutional Investors. You will be part of a team that spearheads the marketing of systematic rules-based strategies developed by our Strategic Index platform. Your role will be client-centric, serving as the expert on JPMorgan's Index offering, including tailoring strategies to meet clients' investment objectives. You will be part of the wider Global Structuring Solutions team, a structuring desk that originates unique investment and financing solutions for a diverse range of clients, from retail/high net-worth team members to large institutional accounts and sponsors. You will work alongside sales and trading desks globally to provide top-tier product knowledge and deal execution. With team members in London and NY, you will have the opportunity to work with sales and clients on a global scale.
Position Description
Focus on QIS solutions, assisting the team with all aspects of transaction origination and execution. Produce relevant quantitative analysis including backtesting, sensitivities and other for investor pitches. Produce material and pitches for client calls, roadshows and meetings.
Job Responsibilities

  • Help drive client business and revenue by helping the team respond to inquiries and client RFPs, preparing sales pitches on new ideas and running quantitative analysis
  • Prepare materials for client calls, roadshows and meetings, including but not limited to: marketing materials on new products, market updates on topical themes and index performance
  • Develop bespoke portfolio solutions and strategies for clients specific objectives and payoffs using robust fundamentals, quantitative and qualitative inputs
  • Analyse and back-test systematic index strategies portfolios that best answer clients' objectives;
  • Monitor and analyze returns across the firm's systematic strategy offerings and client portfolios
  • Proactively seek to enhance the tools and technology available to the team


Required qualifications, capabilities and skills

  • Graduates/post-graduates with good academic records from esteemed universities with minimum 3 years of exposure to markets
  • Written competency and spoken language fluency in English
  • Strong quantitative skills and intellectual curiosity.
  • Team player with the ability to work well under pressure in a fast paced environment
  • Quick learner and desire to learn about products across assets, particularly risk factor investing
  • Exceptional attention to detail, hardworking, flexible
  • Ability to multi-task, excellent organizational skills
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
  • Highly proficient in Bloomberg, Excel and PowerPoint


Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills

  • Familiarity with financial concepts and awareness of broader markets
  • Ability to think from first principle
  • Self-starter entrepreneurial mindset
  • Programming experience is strongly preferred.
