JOB DESCRIPTION
Position Summary:
Designs and executes control plans, audits to ensure that control plans are being followed, and ensures containment and corrective action in the event of non-conformance. Works with Cross functional teams to update the QMS.
Major Responsibilities:
- FAI’s/PPAP’s
- Leads Multi-functional teams to help improve the Quality System
- Gage Improvements
- Inspection Improvements
- Quality Audits
- Leading MSA’s (GR&R’s and machine capability studies)
- Leads Quality Improvements and Corrective Actions
- Works with Suppliers and Customers
- Training quality personal, Machinists on gages & Inspection methods
- Programming Gages
Required Education / Experience / Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical field, Mechanical, Aerospace, Industrial or Materials.
- 0-2 years of engineering experience (Intern and/or co-op) in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong verbal and written communication and presentation skills with all levels of employees and management.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, while adjusting to changing priorities and project lists.
- Team orientated with the ability to influence others without authority.
- Green Belt in Lean Six Sigma within 3 years
