Job Location: Navi Mumbai
Experience: 2-5Years.
Job Description
As a key member of Protegrity Products group you will be responsible to provide with testing and certification services to the various products developed across all Protegrity development centers.
Main Responsibilities:
• Creation of test plans, test requirements and test cases.
• Establishment of test procedures, and product certifications.
• Maintain and update test cases according to new features and platforms.
• Specification and execution of longevity tests.
• Specification and execution of performance and stability tests.
• Test status reporting, as part of product release, or on demand certification.
• Generation of bug reports, and tracking.
• Supporting the development team by reproducing customer issues.
• Maintenance of test platforms to provide complete coverage of supported systems and configurations.
• Understand and be able to write database scripts to validate and test data integrity and performance.
Required skills:
• Traditional QA resource with 2-3 years of experience in Manual testing(GUI and Server Side testing)
• Should have working experience in writing/executing DB SQL query
• Should have experience installing and configuring UNIX machine
• Should have working experience in executing Automation scripts
• Should have working experience in Web services testing (SOAP/RestFul)
• Should have working experience in API testing
• Working experience with Database systems: Postgre SQL/SQL ite
• Working experience with testing of multi-threaded application
• Worked predominantly in Unix / Linux environment
• Has worked in a small/medium scale product based company
Desired skills:
• Knowledge and experience with Bugzilla, Jira and Testopia
• Knowledge of communication protocols such as HTTP, TCP/IP
• Working experience in LDAP
• Working experience in Security domain
• Working experience in appliance based product testing
