The role:
We are looking for an exceptional candidate for a QA Executive (Automation Tester) role to assess software quality through automated testing. You will be responsible for ensuring the quality and performance of our software products through automation testing. This role requires a proactive and
detail-oriented individual who can work in a fast-paced, agile environment. You will collaborate closely with product managers, developers, and other QA professionals to ensure high-quality product releases.
Experience: 2 to 4 years
Job Responsibilities:
● Design, develop, and maintain automation test scripts using tools like Selenium, Robot Framework, Playwright and/or other automation frameworks.
● Work closely with product managers and software engineers to understand product features and their implementations.
● Hands-on experience with designing, develop and maintaining automated tests for Web, API and Mobile
● Collaborate with development teams to create and execute test plans that cover functional, integration, and regression testing.
● Build and maintain test automation frameworks to enable fast, reliable testing of web applications across browsers and devices
● Ensure that the software products meet high standards of reliability, performance, and user experience.
● Conduct root cause analysis of issues to prevent future occurrences.
● Provide timely and detailed reports on defects, test results, and overall quality metrics.
● Continuously optimize the test automation framework and recommend best practices to improve testing processes.
● Create and maintain test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and test reports.
● Stay updated with industry best practices and emerging tools and technologies in test automation to continuously improve the testing process and efficiency.
Primary skills:
● Experience: 2 to 4 years of experience in automation testing, building and maintaining test automation frameworks.
● Automation Tools: Proficiency in web automation tools such as Selenium, Robot Framework, Playwright, or similar.
● Programming/Scripting Languages: Strong knowledge of programming or scripting languages like Java, JavaScript, Python, or C# used for automation.
● Test Frameworks: Experience in developing and maintaining automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium WebDriver, TestNG, JUnit, Mocha, etc.).
● Version Control: Experience with Git or other version control systems.
● CI/CD Integration: Experience integrating automation tests into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, etc.).
● Cross-Browser Testing: Experience in automating cross-browser and cross-device testing.
● Test Management: Familiarity with test management tools such as JIRA, TestRail, or Zephyr.
● BE/B.Tech degree in engineering
