Design, build, and maintain automation test suites from test cases for web and API applications. Apply BDD and Agile testing practices using Selenium, Cucumber, and build tools. Manage test artifacts in Xray/ALM and defects in JIRA. Work with source control, troubleshoot Windows environments, and support performance and data-driven testing.
Qualifications:
- 7+ experience as Software QA
- Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related qualifications
- Accountable for converting the test cases to automation suites
- Solid experience in Agile testing methodologies and best practices.
- Solid experience with development and testing of complex enterprise or customer-facing applications preferably on Point-of-Sale (POS) or Post Office services background
- Expert knowledge of software testing, quality improvement, quality process, quality assurance methodologies, and best practices.
- Experience and good understanding of automation testing and frameworks
- Software Testing or Quality related certification is a plus
Technical Skills
- Extensive experience in Web application and API testing methodologies.
- Extensive experience automation testing tools and programming (Selenium) and designing or creating test frameworks.
- Solid understanding of Behavior Driven Development tools and Build tools (eg. Cucumber and Gradle)
- Knowledge on application architecture from front end and back end.
- Advance knowledge on different Windows operating system platform (Windows 10, Windows servers 2016, etc) including windows commands, basic troubleshooting/monitoring tools
- Test Management Tool (e.g. Xray, ALM)
- Project Management and Defect Reporting (e.g. JIRA)
- Source Control (e.g. GitLab, Bitbucket)
- Understanding of Performance Testing and related tools (e.g. Jmeter, Blazemeter) is plus
- Programming or scripting skills is a plus including basic SQL or similar concept to extract data for test
