Job Purpose:
This position will be responsible of developing tools and applications, unit testing, debugging new technologies, performance tuning and optimization of existing code, (focused on Python automation solutions). Identify, track, and report metrics associated with all phases of the development and implementation project’s lifecycle. Act as liaison between parallel work-streams, determine and report progress, and escalate concerns to the SLTs.
Another key role for this position is to provide level 2 and level 3 troubleshooting support to Emerging Technology and Desktop Solutions in production.
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute Python automation platform tasks and other emerging technologies to automate processes while ensuring all the technology mandates are met properly
- Partner with the EE Project Delivery team to proper report on progress and update stakeholders, at the time that compliance requirements are reviewed properly
- Partner with the EE Project Execution team to ensure projects are executed properly, define the project scope, goals and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with the working team (PM, BA, etc.) and stakeholders.
- Plan and schedule project timelines and milestones using appropriate tools, in collaboration with the project delivery team
- Interaction with Audit related deliverables.
Knowledge/Experience:
- +6 years of experience in development of technological solutions or a technological environment
- Having Knowledge of Data Analysis and Data modelling.
- Hands on Python / any analytical tools.
- Experience in handling critical data. Data from various sources.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or technology related fields.
- Python programming Certification desired
- Process automation leveraging emerging technologies experience – Required
- Experience at working both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment is essential.
- Ability to execute development projects.
- Ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
- Development in a Financial environment experience desirable
- Must be able to quickly learn, understand, and apply new technologies.
- Good communication skill is a must ( there will be stake holder connect).
Skills:
- English +90%.
- Pyspark and API experience is a plus
