Job Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Python AI Lead to join our engineering team. This role will play a key part in building and scaling next-generation applications powered by Generative AI and Microsoft Azure cloud services.
The ideal candidate is a hands-on technical leader with strong experience in Python backend development. This role requires expertise in LLM-based solutions, RAG architectures, and vector databases, along with the ability to lead development efforts from concept to deployment.
You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, secure, and high-performance AI- enabled platforms while mentoring developers and driving engineering best practices.
Key Responsibilities Technical Leadership
- Lead the design, development, and deployment of scalable AI-enabled
- Provide technical direction and mentorship to development
- Conduct architecture reviews and enforce engineering best
- Design and develop high-performance backend services using Python frameworks such as Flask or Django.
- Build and integrate APIs supporting AI-driven workflows and enterprise
- Design and implement Generative AI solutions using LLMs and Retrieval Augmented
Generation (RAG).
- Work with vector databases and semantic search systems to support AI-powered
- Integrate AI models and services into enterprise
- Architect and deploy cloud-native solutions on Microsoft Azure, leveraging services such as:
- Azure App Service
- Azure Functions
- Azure Cosmos DB
- Azure SQL
- Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS)
- Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions.
- Utilize Docker and Kubernetes for containerization and scalable
- Monitor application performance, cost, and reliability within Azure
- Ensure strong security practices across application and cloud
- Work closely with product managers, architects, and designers to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
Required Qualifications Experience
- 8–12 years of professional experience in software
- Strong expertise in Python development with frameworks such as:
- Django
- Flask
- At least 1 year of experience building applications using Generative AI technologies, including:
- LLM integrations
- RAG architectures
- AI-powered search or knowledge systems
- Experience with both SQL and NoSQL databases, including:
- PostgreSQL
- SQL Server
- Azure Cosmos DB
- Hands-on experience with:
- Git version control
- CI/CD pipelines
- Docker
- Kubernetes
- Experience with Gen AI frameworks such as LangChain or LlamaIndex.
- Strong understanding of Azure security and cloud architecture best practices.
- Familiarity with TDD / BDD development methodologies.
- Azure certifications such as Azure Developer Associate (AZ-204).
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
