What You'll Do
As a Technical Product Manager focused on AI, you’ll work at the intersection of AI technology, investment research, and product strategy. You will contribute to the development of next-generation AI features, including LLM-based search assistants, content generation systems, and intelligent research tools. You'll be responsible for translating investor needs into prompt-engineered experiences, collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive innovation at scale.
This is an ideal role for someone who has a foundation in product thinking and prompt engineering, is passionate about equity markets, and is eager to grow in a technical product career.
Responsibilities
- Work closely with the Product Manager teams and engineering teams to define, develop, and optimize AI-powered features for Seeking Alpha’s investor tools.
- Help design, test, and manage prompts used in content generation, AI search assistants, RAG-based workflows and agentic workflows.
- Collaborate with AI engineers and data scientists to integrate LLMs (e.g., OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini) into production systems.
- Assist in implementing and managing prompt evaluation frameworks using tools like Vellum AI, LangChain, or AWS Bedrock.
- Conduct usability tests, A/B experiments, and prompt performance evaluations with clear metrics for user satisfaction, cost, and quality.
- Contribute to the roadmap and prioritization process by gathering requirements from users, analysts, and internal teams.
- Stay current with trends in AI/LLM technology and financial research to inform product innovation.
- Work with customer feedback, analytics, and user research to iterate and improve AI features and interfaces.
Requirements
- 1–3 years of experience in product management, technical product roles, or AI-related product/engineering work.
- Hands-on experience with prompt engineering and working knowledge of LLMs (e.g., OpenAI GPT, Claude, Gemini).
- Background or strong interest in equity markets, financial research, or investment tools.
- Ability to write clear product specifications and collaborate with developers and data teams on a technical level.
- Familiarity with prompt management tools like Vellum AI, LangChain, or AWS Bedrock is a strong plus.
- Understanding of Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), embeddings, or similar NLP workflows preferred.
- Data-driven mindset: comfort with experimentation, KPIs, and iterating based on measurable results.
- Strong communication skills; capable of translating complex AI/technical concepts into user-friendly features.
- Eagerness to grow in a fast-paced, AI-driven product environment.
