- Knowledge of Regulatory Reporting reviews:
- Understanding the Regulatory instructions
- Identifying the BDE’s and test criteria to execute the review to reach a conclusion on Pass / Fail
- Understanding of a Bank’s balance sheet and the key products across domains like FINREP. Liquidity, Own Funds.
- Ability to document the review in the prescribed format to evidence:
- Data Lineage / system hops that the transaction has taken from source to return
- Updating the central Book of Work with the status and providing commentary for any anomalies
- Evidencing the audit trail for each of the samples under review
- Stakeholder Engagement:
- Ability to work with the TTT (Targeted Transaction Testing) Team across various pods / products to prioritize the reviews as per stipulated timelines.
- Ability to reach out to Business for documentation requirement
- Strong communication skills to articulate the Fails, appraise the TTT Lead / POD Lead / Stakeholders on the progress.
- Prior experience of working on HSBC Systems and IRR project will be highly preferable.
