Job Description

GENERAL DESCRIPTION:  A Technical Project Manager cum Scrum Master with a blend of technical, project management, and agile/scrum-specific skills

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Plan, execute, and monitor project progress effectively, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality deliverables.

  • Establish standard processes across teams for Scrum.

  • Create daily progress reports and share with stakeholders.

  • Own Scrum master’s responsibilities, including facilitating scrum ceremonies, removing impediments, and fostering a self-organizing team culture.

  • Strong communication skills to convey technical concepts and project updates to stakeholders, as well as facilitate collaboration within the team.

  • Own release management with an eagerness to learn and handle the required processes.

  • Plan and Schedule Releases, Coordinate Deployment Activities, Manage Release Lifecycle, Risk and Issue Management, Communication and Stakeholder Alignment, Quality Assurance and Compliance and Continuous Improvement.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

Minimum Required Education: Bachelor’s degree in engineering

Minimum Required Experience: Two years relevant experience in project Management

Desirable Education/Experience: Bachelor’s degree

  • Ability to identify and address project challenges, as well as impediments to the team's progress, and facilitate problem-solving sessions

Time management

  • Skillful in managing project timelines within the framework of sprints, prioritizing tasks, and ensuring the team meets sprint goals

Risk management

  • Ability to identify and manage risks within the project, including those related to technical issues, resource constraints, or changes in requirements

Other

  • Skill in managing relationships with various stakeholders, including clients, product owners, team members, and other project stakeholders

  • Ability to adapt to changing project requirements, priorities, and constraints, while also promoting adaptability within the team

  • Commitment to continuous improvement, both at the individual level and for the team, through retrospectives and process refinement

Technical Competencies

  • Other Technical / Computer Skills -

  • Minimum four years’ experience as an IT Project Manager (PMO) leading with Agile methodology.

  • Minimum four plus years of development experience in .NET and other backend technologies for technical understanding of a project

  • Experience to work on SDLC applications like Jira, ServiceNow, Confluence and MS Excel

  • Proficient in Agile principles and practices, particularly Scrum framework, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.

  • Relevant certification would be a plus
