We are seeking a technically strong person with experience managing projects and programs. The role is global in nature and will require collaboration with leaders, Service Delivery Manager, and delivery teams across multiple locations. Your broad management and technical knowledge in the delivery will help enable new Cloud service for the area. You will act as a sounding board for the team members looking for direction, and your experience helps to avoid pitfalls in adopting new cloud services, methodologies and or technologies.
Key Responsibilities
- Determine scope of Cloud initiatives through research and fact-finding, combined with an understanding of applicable business requirements and technology.
- Partner with Service Delivery Manager on risks, issue management and resolution. Work with SDM and engineering team to maintain project plan containing objectives, timeline, priorities and risks – this includes milestones using designated tool sets.
- Coordinate requirements gathering sessions, stand-ups, meetings with business representatives
- Document requirements, program functions, data quality reports and analysis.
- Coordinate and support Production issues and fixes while delivering on pre-aligned agenda for the sprint.
- Ability to scope in a technically complex and fast- changing environment, respond calmly and rationally in a constantly changing, deadline driven environment.
- Work closely with Cloud engineering team in India and US to deliver the Cloud Services within existing finance applications.
- Point of contact during the project for all aspects of the cloud enablement. Ensures a strong and seamless relationship by maintaining communications about the project to the stakeholders: business partners, management, and delivery. Responsible for regular status reports
- Stays up to date with technological and or/process developments and demonstrates knowledge and expertise with Cloud enablement and an ability to evaluate solutions.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's/Master’s Degree or equivalent professional experience.
- 7-10 years technical experience in enterprise-scale cloud and hybrid infrastructures for data and analytics, migrations, and technology management.
- 2+ years of technology industry experience with ability to contribute to an end-to-end delivery and solutions using AWS and other cloud technologies.
- 2+ years’ experience managing and technology engagements end-to-end with projects in multiple locations.
- Working understanding of AWS services (IAM, ECS, Cloud Formation, etc.), cloud architecture, infrastructure scaling and large-scale cloud environments and networking.
- Experience stakeholder management skills and a proven ability to build strong relationships and trust throughout the organization, including with senior leadership
- Experience building and using dashboards to drive decisions and view the technical environments as desired.
- Well-organized project skills. Spreadsheets are your friends, but so are JIRA boards and ticket queues.
- Excellent communication skills – will be required to liaise independently with senior US counterparts on variety of business cases.
- Proven experience to deal with ambiguity.
