About you and the role :

As a Production Engineer based out at Taloja, Navi Mumbai you will be serving as a vital resource for Operations by applying technical skills to optimize plant operations, resolve plant problems, and enable safe and efficient production of low cost, quality products. Requires conceptual knowledge of theories, practices, and procedures within job discipline. Performs routine assignments and solves standard problems using existing procedures. Applies general knowledge of business developed through education or experience.

Responsibilities / Duties

  • Partners with experts for advanced troubleshooting and improving operating discipline; diagnoses and documents root causes of asset utilization losses by monitoring and owns daily KPIs/trends for optimum performance.
  • Maintains strong field presence to reinforce procedures and precautions by reviewing logbook and alarm history daily to stay engaged with plant operations.
  • Responds promptly to plant issues and emergencies and acts as technical expert during unplanned events; drives corrective and preventive actions.
  • Leads optimization in raw material efficiency, yield, and waste reduction.
  • Ensures compliance with operating permits and supports site integration for system optimization.

Qualifications

  • A bachelor's or master's degree in chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or Instrumentation Engineering.
  • A minimum of 5-7 years relevant experience is required.
