Job Title: Product Owner

Impact & contribution:
As Product Owner you will define and lead the vision and roadmap for the product deliverables, achieving customer outcomes and organisational value.
You will be an expert in stakeholder engagement, both internal, external and across other crews and domains. You will be responsible for managing change, product delivery and product development, understanding product the product design and deliverables within your crew. You will be responsible for managing product backlog, dependencies, delivering operational risk and issue management and defining the product vision, goals and roadmap aligned to the crew objectives, OKR’s and purpose.
Roles & Responsibilities:

Defining product vision, goals and roadmap aligned with the Retail Technology Engineering domain

Being accountable for end-to-end value delivery and product lifecycle management
-
Working with the squad and broader crew to determine change requirements, delivery framework and relatable administrative tasks

Acting as the voice of the customer for the business and translate this for the squad
-
Applying expertise to support prioritisation of tasks, backlog items, balancing trade-offs and exploring strategies to achieve business outcomes and customer outcomes

Accountable for addressing impediments, driving decisions and resolving escalations
-
Driving product exploration, using design thinking and analytics to formulate hypothesis and validate product strategy and design

Ensuring all obligations across customer, regulatory, internal policy and process frameworks are satisfied

Articulate and manage risks, dependencies and compliance streams of work

Maintain a healthy, prioritised backlog to deliver outcomes

Manage senior business and technical stakeholders to ensure prioritisation is understood and agreed to

Manage the squad’s performance to defined objectives including OKR tracking

Role model continuous improvement and customer focus

Drive squad effectiveness and agile maturity (sprint burn down, release burn up and squad health) with Agile Coaches and Performance Leads.
Essential Skills:

Minimum of 2 years working with Agile methodologies.

Overall12+ years of industy experience.

Sound proficiency in Agile Development.

Sound proficiency in Coaching skills.

Sound proficiency in Data and analytics analysis.

Enhanced proficiency in Problem Solving, Decision making and critical thinking.

Enhanced proficiency in Persuading and Influencing.

Enhanced proficiency in Planning, Strategic thinking and tactical management.

Sound proficiency in Leadership principles.

Sound proficiency in Product and Services Management.

Sound proficiency in Risk Management.
Education Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Information Technology.

Agile Coach/Scrum Master or Product Owner Qualification.
