The opportunity
The Product Marketing Specialist for Traction Transformers business in India, brings the knowledge for Transformer products & his/her skills for effective Marketing for Transformers to help business, deliver profitable & sustainable growth. This will be an individual role & the individual will be responsible for providing time-bound bids & quotations with associated technical and commercial details in response to market needs for specific Zones.
How you’ll make an impact
- Key Accountability: Supply Side Orders and Order Gross Margins, factory loading with the right product mix for specific zones within the country
- Estimation of markets, target markets and budgets. Ensure their achievement of targets / budget through regular monitoring, supporting and interacting with the sales teams throughout the year, with implementation of improvements in plans as needed.
- Tender activity: review specification, tender estimation, submission of Techno commercial quotation & closing of opportunities.
- Develop and implement annual marketing plans in conjunction with business unit/product group. Prepare business plans focused on business development for a defined market.
- Individual role with a focus on operational execution; short/medium-term operational goals.
- Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.

Your background
- Should have a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering. A master’s degree in business, marketing, or engineering is a plus.
- 05 to 08 years of experience in Product Marketing / Sales / Business development (Preferably of Transformer products) or Transformer Electrical Engineering / and/or Project Manager, preferably associated with transformer businesses.
- The person in this role should have strong technical skills, in addition to the marketing experience.
- Intercultural sensitivity is required, with good communication skills in oral and written
- Experience in change management, coaching, motivating, and developing diverse technical teams
- Be willing to travel ~25%
- Proficiency in both spoken & written English language is required
