JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

This internship position involves supporting the Product Manager in performing task in the following fields:

Astro Product device development

• Product development & management of both hardware and software components.
• Conduct a product testing to validate hardware capability and software functionality.
• Conduct a market research and produce a product requirement documentation.
• Participate and involve in cross-functional communication throughout the product lifecycle.

Addressable Ads (AA)

• Product Research on AA
• AA Product Delivery, validation and testing
• Documentation and Reporting on AA

Key Responsibilities:

Astro Product device development

• Assist the Product Manager in coordinating and managing hardware and software development cycles.
• Support cross-functional communication between hardware and software teams to ensure alignment.
• Prepare and maintain product documentation, presentations, and status reports.
• Track and update product roadmaps, development milestones, and sprint boards.
• Execute and coordinate product testing, gather user feedback through a sessions, and compile reports.
• Monitor product KPIs and help identify areas for improvement.
• Help define product requirements, user stories, and feature specification based on strategy and product research.
• Track and update product development roadmaps and sprint boards.
• Assist in preparing product documentation, presentations, support and launch materials.
• Conduct market research and competitive analysis to support product strategy, positioning and features.

Addressable Ads (AA)

• Assist in testing AA products on all devices – STB, Smart TV, Web, Mobile
• Research current landscape of AA – who is the current industry player
• What is the current trending for AA and Digital Ads.
• AA Product Field Trial reporting – inquire with participants
• Business rules development.

REQUIREMENTS:

WHO YOU ARE:

• Currently pursuing a degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, IT or equivalent.
• Passionate about new technology, broadcast & streaming products, and product innovation.
• Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Good sense of understanding and responsibility.
• Good communication and information/instruction interpretation skill
• Able to give full commitment on tasks execution and completion.
• Able to work with people with different personality and capacity.
• Attention to detail
• Familiarity with Software Development Lifecycle.
• Familiarity of Agile or Scrum tools (e.g. Jira, Trello) is an advantage.
• Basic knowledge of broadcast and streaming of hardware-software integration concepts is a plus.
• Proficient in handling big data, Excel, Power Point and Word
