The Process Automation Developer will design and develop RPA solutions, collaborating with business stakeholders to ensure high-quality automation. Responsibilities include coding, testing, and debugging software, alongside creating documentation and managing releases. This role requires deep technical expertise in process automation and software development lifecycles.
JOB DESCRIPTION
- The role will participate in hands-on development, configuration and testing of process automation (RPA) to meet the defined requirements.
- Design and develop process automation using core RPA workflow principles that are efficient, well structured, documented, maintainable and easy to understand.
- Works collaboratively with process experts across global process, SMEs and business stakeholders during process analysis, script development & test and UAT phases to deliver RPA automations with quality.
- Design, construct, implement and support software that meets the business requirements.
- Perform software construction, unit testing and debugging; software construction may include the preparation of new software, reuse of existing code, modification of existing programs, or integration of purchased solutions.
- Act as an expert technical resource to development staff, in all phases of development and implementation processes.
- Develop scalable and efficient process automation and reusable components that can be leveraged across like-minded processes.
- Build, test deliver and maintain robotic automation capabilities using industry leading RPA software.
- Read and follow the Underwriters Laboratories Code of Conduct and follow all physical and digital security practices.
- Provides other duties as directed.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelors' degree from an accredited University in Engineering/Computer Science, Statistics, or Finance or equivalent field. Graduate degree in Computer Science related field preferred.
- 3-4+ years of development programming experience and solid background in programming, preferably UiPath, Power Platform, .Net, C#, Java, R, SaS, or Python
- Deep technical skills in Process Automation and capable of serving as a subject matter expert in RPA.
- Experience with Software Development Lifecycle
- Creation of technical documentation and testing scenarios
- Experienced with release management.
- Stong MS-Excel skills
- UiPath Certification
- Power Platform experience
- Certification in Industry leading Robotics Automation products.
