Job Summary:
As a Privacy Area Product Owner at JPMorgan Chase within the Consumer & Community Banking- Data and Analytics, you serve as a seasoned member of an agile team to design and deliver trusted market-leading technology products in a secure, stable, and scalable way. You are responsible for carrying out critical technology solutions across multiple technical areas within various business functions in support of the firm's business objectives.
Job Responsibilities:

  • Refine the data access and data use product strategy and vision to effectively deliver value to customers.
  • Research existing and innovative approaches to governance processes to inform the design, planning, and building of services that support data migration and management activities, coordinating across data governance and product delivery objectives.
  • Identify customer requirements for integration into the product roadmap.
  • Author detailed user journeys that focus on business needs affecting data access and use, and programmatically execute governance down to fine-grained access controls.
  • Author user acceptance test cases to define success criteria for each feature.
  • Collaborate with engineering to refine requirements for efficient delivery, test features in pre-production environments against well-defined use cases, and coordinate reviews and integration with customer business processes, including story writing to meet definitions of ready and done.
  • Prioritize the backlog and provide business context across the product team and with technology partners.
  • Prepare design materials, prototypes, and training materials in partnership with key stakeholders to support end users, balancing feature delivery against technical non-functional requirements mandated by IT governance to ensure highly performant solutions.
  • Telecommute up to 40% of the week.


Required qualifications, capabilities and skills:

  • Product discovery, requirements refinement and backlog prioritization capacities supporting the product SDLC
  • Creating and technically supporting data governance products and services or defining and executing data management processes
  • User requirements discovery and synthesizing ambiguous customer needs into clear product requirements
  • Problem and solution framing using Word, PowerPoint, and Confluence
  • Visual representation of problems and solutions using Visio and Lucid
  • Data analysis and transformation using Excel, Alteryx, SQL Editor, Python, and Spark; experience running analysis on data in Snowflake, AWS and Oracle databases
  • Assessing Java code for testing
