What you’ll do
The Gas Power DnA Operations leader role is responsible for providing strategic vision, leadership, and direction to accelerate the transformation of the Gas Power Analytics portfolio and its supporting services. The Operations leader partners closely with the DnA strategic partner and leads overall PMO activities and transformation initiatives, including Program Increment (PI) planning, resource management, and the adoption of GenAI-based reporting and analytics solutions.
The DnA Operations leader collaborates extensively with analytics teams across Power business domains, directly contributing to enterprise objectives and digital transformation priorities. The role owns and manages a comprehensive, end-to-end Data & Analytics Value Stream that delivers measurable business outcomes and drives continuous productivity and performance improvements.
In addition, the Operations leader establishes and enforces governance over analytics support operations to ensure product stability, reliability, and operational excellence. The role defines and executes IT Lean strategies, oversees financial performance to maintain alignment with budget targets, and manages a portfolio of programs focused on enhancing operational efficiency, improving service delivery, and strengthening the overall health of Gas Power’s data and analytics ecosystem.
Establish the vision, strategy, and operating framework for Gas Power’s analytics portfolio and support services.
Lead overall PMO activities, including PI planning, resource allocation, and program prioritization to ensure successful execution of the DnA transformation roadmap.
Build transparency in data and standardize processes through digitization and automation to drive productivity improvements and operational efficiency.
Maintain governance over analytics support operations to ensure stability, performance, and reliability across analytics products.
Define and implement IT Lean strategies that improve processes, enable data-driven decision-making, and foster continuous improvement.
Lead GenAI and emerging technology adoption initiatives across business domains while establishing strong governance to maintain operational excellence and financial discipline.
Oversee portfolio and run financials to ensure alignment with budget targets and cost-optimization objectives.
Lead monthly operating reviews using KPIs to drive problem-solving, root cause analysis, and corrective actions.
Develop and maintain operational policies, procedures, and metrics that ensure compliance, standard work, and effective risk management.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives that reduce incidents, improve customer satisfaction, and deliver measurable cost and productivity benefits.
Partner with Data Product Owners and Architects to incorporate operational feedback into product roadmaps, ensuring analytics stability and scalability.
Lead and mature governance for IT compliance (SOX, ISO, Export Control), minimizing exceptions through standardized processes.
Collaborate across analytics and business domains to align data solutions with business priorities and enable insight-driven outcomes.
What you’ll bring (Basic Qualifications)
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, or another STEM discipline, or equivalent experience/knowledge.
Significant professional IT experience with demonstrated leadership in analytics operations, PMO management, or digital transformation.
Demonstrated success leading at least two (2) large-scale transformation initiatives, including organizational change management and business outcome realization.
Strong understanding of Lean and Agile methodologies, with experience applying them in complex, cross-functional IT environments.
Experience leading analytics operations, including outage management, root cause problem-solving, and business continuity/disaster recovery planning.
Proven success establishing daily management systems, KPIs, and standard operating procedures for analytics or IT service delivery

Hands-on experience implementing Lean principles, facilitating operating reviews, and driving measurable process improvements.
Proven experience managing portfolio financials, ensuring delivery within budget, and achieving measurable year-over-year improvement in performance and efficiency.

For candidates applying to a U.S. based position, the pay range for this position is between $137,700.00 and $229,600.00. The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set.
Bonus eligibility: discretionary annual bonus.
