Job Responsibilities:
Technical Leadership & Innovation
- Architect and implement state-of-the-art AI platform infrastructure, from conception to production deployment
- Drive technical decision-making for platform architecture, scalability, and operational excellence
- Establish best practices for platform development, testing, and deployment workflows
- Design and implement infrastructure for ML model training and serving at scale
- Lead the development of robust data management and versioning systems
- Pioneer innovative solutions for ML infrastructure optimization
Team & Project Leadership
- Lead and mentor a team of senior platform engineers
- Foster a culture of technical excellence, innovation, and continuous learning
- Drive cross-functional collaboration with ML engineers, researchers, and product teams
- Define technical roadmaps aligned with business objectives
- Champion system reliability, security, and compliance standards
- Guide career development and growth of team members
Infrastructure & Scale
- Partner with ML teams to design and optimize data pipelines for large-scale training
- Architect solutions for efficient real-time and batch inference systems
- Ensure robust monitoring and maintenance of production ML systems
- Drive improvements in platform performance, efficiency, and reliability
Job Requirements:
Education & Experience
- MS or PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related field
- 10+ years of experience in Software Engineering, with focus on platform/infrastructure development
- Proven track record of building large-scale distributed systems in production environments
- Strong background in cloud-native technologies and ML infrastructure
Technical Expertise
- Deep expertise in designing and building scalable distributed systems
- Strong programming skills in Python and proficiency with multiple languages
- Extensive experience with cloud platforms and modern DevOps practices
- Demonstrated expertise in building and optimizing large-scale data processing pipelines
- Strong background in ML infrastructure and deployment systems
Leadership & Communication
- Proven ability to lead and mentor technical teams
- Strong track record of driving technical decisions and innovation
- Excellence in cross-functional collaboration and technical communication
- Recognized expertise in platform engineering and distributed systems
