We are seeking a Principal Commercial Contracts Manager to join our global Commercial Contracts team, where innovation knows no borders. This team supports Travel Solutions by partnering with Sales, Product, Finance, Tax and Legal teams to shape commercial agreements that help travel agency customers grow with Sabre. As Principal Commercial Contracts Manager, you will support complex travel agency commercial agreements across the APAC region. Based in Mumbai, India, you will act as a senior advisor to commercial teams, lead high-impact contract negotiations and help improve contracting processes at scale. This role requires strong judgment, regional business insight and the ability to turn complex commercial terms into clear contract outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the drafting, negotiation and review of complex commercial agreements for travel agency customers across APAC.
  • Partner with Sales, Legal, Finance, Tax, Operations and Product teams to structure contract terms that support business goals and manage risk.
  • Serve as a senior point of contact for commercial teams, customer legal teams and internal counsel on contract matters.
  • Advise on post-signature contract questions, escalation paths and regional contracting practices.
  • Drive process improvements, template updates and automation initiatives that improve speed, consistency and commercial impact.

Preferred qualifications and education

  • Bachelor’s degree or professional qualification in law.
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in commercial contracts, legal operations, paralegal work or contract negotiation in a high-volume business environment.
  • Strong experience supporting technology, travel technology, software, SaaS or travel agency commercial agreements.
  • Proven ability to negotiate complex customer agreements and influence stakeholders across a matrixed global organization.
  • Strong understanding of commercial terms, risk allocation, financial models and contract governance.
  • Excellent written and spoken English, with strong communication, analytical and problem-solving skills.
