The Role: The Indexes Sales Operational team seeks an enthusiastic, results-driven, and experienced pre-sales analyst who is passionate about providing world-class pre-sales support to our global index sales team. Candidate should be open to shift rotation (Morning Shift - 5:30 am to 2:30 pm, Day Shift - 12:30 pm to 9:30 pm, UK Shift - 3.00 pm to 12.00 am). You will service and support external and internal clients. In this role, you will interact with clients, sales, marketing, product management, and technology teams. A successful Pre Sales Consultant will have a strong client-centric mindset, a data-driven approach to continuous process improvement, a focus on operational excellence, and experience leading training and projects. This position will be in Vashi, Navi Mumbai (India).

Responsibilities:
- Be a process owner and subject matter expert under the Pre-Sales function, such as pre-sales analytics support & client presentation deck preparation.
- Handle pre-sales queries daily to provide accurate and timely responses to our internal partners.
- Assist in responding to requests for proposals (RFPs) and due diligence questionnaires (DDQs) and managing Morningstar Indexes' RFP and DDQ response process.
- Coordinate with Product Management, Operations, and prospective clients to launch and operationalize Morningstar Indexes.
- Contribute to process documentation and knowledge articles related to pre-sales service.
- Initiate and execute ideas to improve the sales operation process and the enablement resource.
- Participate in and lead global projects to improve and support the growth of the Indexes business.
- Utilize Morningstar software to compare our Index offerings to competitors as required.
- Support business development and product management teams for client meeting preparation as required.
- Manage client relationship for strategic accounts and book of business renewal review
- Be creative and work with Index Technology within Morningstar to automate manual tasks and streamline reporting processes.
- Manage and improve Index AUM tracking process and reporting.
- Triage and troubleshoot complex contract & billing issue with Share Service team
- Manage non-technical projects to support the growth of index business
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree
- At least 3-4 years of professional work experience, ideally in a client-facing role within the finance industry
- Project management experience
- A great team player
- Strong interpersonal skills and works well cross-functionally and globally
- Excellent communication skills, both verbally and in writing
- Enjoys problem-solving and making improvements
- Self-motivated, accountable, and willing to take ownership of new responsibilities
- Knowledge of Indexes, Salesforce, Morningstar Direct, and Morningstar Data a plus
- Interested in learning more about Indexes and passive investing
- Comfortable with basics of MS Office, SQL (preferred)
- Ability to collaborate with the global team and deliver quality outcomes under tight deadlines
- The candidate should exhibit a passion for innovation, and harbor a genuine belief in, and acceptance of mission to empower investors' success
