Primary Key Responsibilities (Top 3-5 KRA)
- Ensure complete and accurate posting of transactions to the general ledger and the related accounting systems.
- Month end journals for miscodes, capitalisation, depreciation, accruals and recharges
- Complete reconciliation of bank accounts, control accounts. Ensure differences are investigated and resolved.
- Ensure complete and accurate posting of transactions to the general ledger and the related accounting systems.
Additional Responsibilities :
- Manage the accounting, reconciliations and reporting for Leases
- Support the production of monthly management MI & financial accounts
- Support the production of information for tax, actuarial, statutory and regulatory reporting
- Assist in the production of consolidation packs, statutory accounts, and FCA Returns for review by the Financial Accountant.
- To be able to provide effective cover for other team members, in particular, to be able to process critical daily and weekly transactions within tight deadlines.
- Plan and schedule work to meet deliverable time lines
- Co-ordinate and monitor process improvement initiatives
- To demonstrate a positive risk, compliance and control culture through the identification, assessment, monitoring and management of risks and issues within the business area, alongside ensuring timely and appropriate resolution of control weaknesses
